I started Bake My Day in 2019, baking out of my apartment kitchen in Dwaraka Nagar. My first order was a Minion cake for a 5-year-old — charged ₹800 and spent about ₹1,200 on ingredients because I bought the wrong fondant twice. That kid's face when he saw the cake is still the reason I do this. We moved to a proper kitchen in 2021 and now handle about 40 custom orders a month, but every single cake is still made to order. You send us a photo or a rough idea, and we figure out how to make it real — that's the whole process. No pre-made stock, no catalogue you pick from.
